Day 18. Global Village

The hostel we checked into last night is adorable. George wanted to spend another night here so we could make use of the free kayaks they offered and I couldn’t say no to spending another night at 6th best hostel in New Zealand! I’ve basically spent today pottering around the hostel, reading, sunbathing, taking photos, drinking free cups of tea, and just being nosey and admiring the detail, love and attention the owners (who are also lovely) have put into every aspect of the place.
The lounge
There was a piano with juggling balls, a recorder and some other bits of pieces

The conservatory just off the lounge
 A real log burning fire
Another little seating nook in the lounge
There was one entire wall dedicated to a world map
 My book selections
George's book choice

Fresh eggs and the honesty tray!
Fresh herbs
The kitchen
All the rooms were decorated in slightly different tribal themes

This is what I have to put up with waking up to!!
They also had a sauna, hot tub, gym and kayaks!

But the outside space was maybe the best bit!
 A fire pit
 George checking out the BBQ
Free bikes, the kayaks and the herb garden

A lovely tire path that runs along the property
Our view!
 Another sunny little corner

And this is what we sat and looked at while we had breakfast!
